On tap and poured into a pint glass. Dark brown, almost black color with a white, fingernail head that recedes quickly and doesn't leave lacing. Aroma of roasted malt and subtle sweetness. The malty-ness picks up in the taste with a slightly sweet finish. Low carbonation and medium-light body that makes it an easy drinker. It has surprising creaminess given the lightish body and low ABV.
The low ABV looked like a red flag, but it didn't water down or take away from the stout taste. If anything, the low ABV makes a growler a faster affair. Exceeded expectations.
