On tap. Pours oil black with a barely existent tan head that doesn't leave lacing. Nose of bourbon barrel and roasted malt. Taste is roasted malt, chocolate, oak, and bourbon barrel with a slightly boozey finish. Full body and low carbonation with a bite of alcohol in the aftertaste.
It picked up the finish of Big Jamoke with the upfront barrel aging of the Black Dolphin. It's better than Big Jamoke but not nearly as good as Black Dolphin. Nice blend and a good sign for taproom only releases.
