10oz from the tap at Duke of Wellington, Hobart.
This beer has a very nice deep gold colour, and poured with an attractive white cap of foam.
The aroma was not memorable but it was served in a noisy smelly pub and I didn’t pay a great deal of attention to the aroma of the beer as I was busy avoiding getting jostled.
The mouthfeel was appropriate imho. Carbonation seemed about right, the body of the beer was medium light.
The flavour was disappointing. The overall impression was ‘somewhat harsh’ bitterness, which reminded me of an old school west coast IPA, without any noticeable hop flavours to compensate.
Overall I found this a rather difficult half pint to finish. I considered not drinking it but I was stuck in the pub without anything else to do and I didn’t want to pay for another drink so I drank it but I can’t really say I enjoyed it. I really don’t know whether this was a typical example of the beer or if the keg was old, or perhaps the lines need cleaning. The beer was fairly cold but not excessively so. In the end it was just a beer and I was glad I didn’t get a pint.
Will probably try again but either the canned/bottled beer or on tap from the brewer or a pub with better reputation for beer handling.

Sweet fruit aromas are present, but not typical citrus and floral. More grapefruit and sweet biscuit. Medium carbonation. Pale appearance. An okay effort bit leaves you wanting more

Pours amber with a large, but rapidly fading head.
Aroma is very malty, with lots of caramel. Not to be forgotten, the hop profile is earthy, resinous, with some orange blossom in there as well.
The caramel carries through as a flavour, along with the resinous hops. Unfortunately the bitterness that follows is sharp and harsh.
Carbonation is a little high, body a little watery.

Had on-tap at Preachers in Hobart.
Pours very cloudy, with a filmy but fine white head. Body is firm, coloured a muddy bright amber hue. Looks decent enough.
Pleasant fruity hoppiness on the nose, giving a real citric zing of the American or possibly New Zealand variety. Some dusty grain in the background, but the sharper zesty characters win. Nice.
Taste is bright and quite fresh, but a little thin. Some pleasant bitterness on the back, giving a slight aspirin bite, but overall, there's not a lot of flavour to it - certainly no huge characters. But it's pleasant enough and quite fresh.
Carbonation makes it slightly bloating, but otherwise pleasant.
A nice beer. Not particularly exciting, but decent.

Good hoppy aroma with citrus playing the major role. Unfortunate notes of dust come through as well suggesting that this bottle could be fresher.
Hazy gold colour with a fluffy, white head. Decent head retention.
Moderately malty with some light citrussy hop character. Moderate bitterness is suitable though a little harsh. The malt doesn't feel quite right though the finish is suitably dry.
Medium body with high carbonation. It is a little prickly and not quite as creamy as I would like.
A middle of the road Pale Ale with a couple of flaws but not bad by any means.

on tap at the new sydney. im sure i have had this beer before, but it really left an impression on me this time.
clear light golden color with a nice stable white head.
light on aroma, though they do serve the beer at what must be 2C so that may have had an impact.
the taste is what really got me. not a whole lot of hop flavor, but the bitterness was right up there and it lasted. the malt did not take away from the hops and the finish was super clean.
immensely drinkable.
