One of our most popular beers, our honey wheat is brewed with wheat and a special honey malt plus pure clover honey. It is fermented with an American wheat ale yeast to give it a hazy yellow color.

Appearance: It has a cloudy orange body with a lot of carbonation. The off white head and lace were pretty nice.

Smell: It had a sweet aroma with more of an orange-lemon nose.

Taste: It had raw flour like taste that I thought was strange. It was very sweet with a little bitterness in the aftertaste

Mouthfeel: Creamy with a medium body.

Overall: Not bad I could see it as a nice summer beer.

A - Poured a hazy, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left some soapy trails of lace on the glass.

S - It smelled faintly of wheat, yeast and some honey.

T - Good wheat and honey flavors with a nice spicy bite from the yeast.

M - It was crisp, sharp and smooth. A light bodied ale with a dry finish.

O - This is a pretty nice honey wheat. It could be delicious while outside on their patio playing bocce ball.

On tap at the Hermann Brews/Blues festival, a nice offering from a new brewer.

A filtered wheat beer, leaving a hazy amber / orange pour in the glass, small white head.

Aroma is a subtle but nice honey and citrus. Taste kicks it up a notch with a spicy honey oat and wheat dominating the story. Not at all a sweet brew, but well balanced enough to please both the wife and me. One of those beers that goes well in the St. Louis summer heat. Refreshing and tasty brew.
