This is a bigger version of our Rye Pale Ale. More malt, hops, and alcohol! It's brewed with four varieties of American hops for a malty sweet taste to start and a hoppy finish.

A - Poured a somewhat hazy, burgundy color with a one-finger, khaki colored head of foam. It left some sudsy sheets of lace on the glass.
S - It smelled a little sour with notes of rye bread.
T - Slightly sour rye flavor with a good deal of biscuity malt. Some spiciness and bitter bite.
M - Crisp, sharp and smooth. A medium bodied ale.
O - This is a good Double Rye. Another solid brew for Prison Brews.
