Draft at Dremos. Dark brownish color, with small creamy head. Aromas of roasted nuts with a hint of chocolate. Quite sweet. Good malts, caramel and peat, some molasses as well. Mildly hoppy at the end. I liked the basic flavor components, Pretty good beer.

12oz. brown bottle, no date information.
Crystal clear garnet. Tall, thick head of small, duff colored bubbles that is in no rush to settle. Eventually it reduces itself to a light dusting of bubbles and leaves no lacing. A few aimless carbonation streams are visible. Sweet aromas of chocolate with hints of vanilla waft upwards and this bears a striking resemblance to their Donut Stout in terms of chocolate sweetness. A limited chocolate bit arrives but is quickly replaced by a hop bitterness and a thin, tart flavor. Almost like a hard cider edge. The finish is punctuated with a tart bitterness that seems misplaced and out of character. Thin, watery mouthfeel with a light body and effervescent carbonation. Something must have gone wrong along the way as I found this brown ale to be simply undrinkable and couldnt make it through the bottle.

Appearance: Clear medium brown topped by a smallish light tan head that dissipates to a scanty film and wee ring after a few sips. No lacing at all.
Smell: Light bready malts, faint whiffs of anise and candi sugars.
Taste: Sweetish caramel malts with a modicum of hoppy bitterness. Mild toasted malt flavors, too.
Mouthfeel: Light to medium in body with short-lived aftertastes.
Drinkability: Eh, this ain't too bad, but there are better beers available at the place where you can get this, among them Brooklyn's Brown Ale.

Contract brewed for Dr. Dremo. Used to be brewed in house when the place was B.O.P. called Bardo.
Good medium dark color with a decent light tan head.
Smells, malty and nutty.
This is the only 'house' brew that has retained some of the original flavor from when it was brewed on site. A popular nut brown ale. Flavored with sweet malts, a nuttiness and sometimes a tiny hint of hops.
Mouthfeel is good.
A decent session beer.
Only complaint, there is inconsistency from keg to keg.
