I like the color, a deep, burnt orange. Good foamy head that get smaller but does not fully dissapte. Plenty of carbonation rising until the glass is empty.
Smell the malts, maybe even a hint of orange.
This is a lager, as the name implies, not a marzen. A pretty tasty one at that. Sweet (carmelized?) malt, a slight bitterness to round it out. Not sure if this is a hop or spice bittering.
Mouthfeel is fine, pretty carbonated, but the taste does not linger, and I am not left with a sweet malt stickyness on my tongue.
Very drinkable.
I do not think this is the same as the Dremo octoberfest,this is better. I may be wrong or it may be due to the bottle as opposed to the keg.
