Served in a shaker pint glass.
You don't see too many lagers here at Shenandoah... This one pours a clear straw, verging on the pale, topped by over a finger of white foam, which leaves some lacing as it dies away. The nose comprises some hoppy citrus and floral notes, alongside some sweet rice cakes. The taste is very, very similar, but with a slight vanilla character that separates this pils from others of its ilk. The body is a medium light, with a light carbonation, a fairly creamy feel, and a crisp finish. Overall, a very nice pils that stretches the style's definitions a bit, to the benefit of everybody.
