Served in a shaker pint glass.
A Boston lager not from Samuel Adams? Never thought I'd see the day. This one pours a hazy orangish amber topped by a finger-and-a-half of white foam. The nose comprises light maple syrup, caramel, and grapefruit. The taste holds notes of light caramel, hoppy citrus, and green apples. The body is a very light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a partially smooth, partially sticky feel. Overall, it doesn't fully stack up to the standard Boston, but worth a try, if at least for the sake of competition.
