Pours a four finger head (the color of chocolate milkshake) over a pitch liquid with hardly any brown edgings. Smells rich coffee and dark chocolate. Bit of an overcooked character to the coffee aroma. Head sticks around nicely.
Tastes coffee roast with some sweet dark chocolate. The coffee flavor is overcooked, has a touch of astringent sour. The bean character is raw and rough and very roast. Malt sweet provides some support, but the beer dries in the finish. Thin body on the draw, but medium in the mouth. Md-heavy carbonation.
