Comes in a standard brown half-liter bottle with a multi-colored label featuring the brewery's coat of arms and lots of lettering. Ingredients conform to the purity law. Best before 1/27/04, I opened it on 11/8/03.
Pours a clear orangish gold under a very thin, fizzy head that is gone in a flash. The nose hints at sour mash and plumbs. The mouth is semi-flat and medium-bodied. There's a bit of citrus sour in the taste to go wiht some malt and an undertone of sweet alcohol. The initial impression made me think of a rum-orange fanta mix. Not good. Some metallic bitterness comes out in the finish to remind you that this is a beer. This one is too fruity for my taste.
