Bottle from Jungle Jim's.
Poured a clear amber color with an average frothy white head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Moderate grainy aroma. Medium body. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration.
This beer did not meet my expectations.

Although the name translates literally as "Snow Leopard Light," at 5.5% abv, I can't bring myself to call this a light beer. It comes in a tall brown bottle with a blue and white label featuring a snow leopard with mountains in the distance. Ingredients include rice and sugar. Best before 10/1/04, I opened it on 4/28/04.
Pours a clear watery gold under a two finger white head that reduces to film very quickly. No lace. The nose is sweet and fruity. The mouth is light and painfully prickly. The opening features sweet raspberry and bready malt, followed by a fairly harsh metallic hoppy bite. The bite strengthens in the aftertaste, but is also smoothes out. It's drinkable, but not with any great pleasure or enjoyment.
