Amber copper color with a thin head with short retention.
Aroma with notes of toffee, red fruit marmalade, apple puree and some herbal notes.
Sweet flavor with notes of red candied fruits, hay, mild herbal hops, a pinch of cocoa, apple puree, caramels, a bit of toasted malts, raisins, strawberry jam and honey. Medium dry aftertaste with a mild bitterness and a residual sweetness.
Full body, somewhat liquorish, with mild carbonation. Alcohol of 9.2% abv is incredibly well hidden.
Very sweet malty and fruity beer with decent sugary complexity. Not bad and still within style ranges, but I preferred more balanced beers that at least offsets part of its sweetness.

The colour is dark brown-red. The low pale beige head sinks quickly down to a thin lid without much lacing. The liquid is a little hazy.
The smell got interesting notes of sweet fruits and berries. Lots of malt, caramel and toffee, red apples, some cask matured notes and a touch of raspberry jam.
The taste is fruity and complex. Wooden cask matured notes of apricots, red apples and some alcohol. Later, sweet notes of red berries, brown sugar, toffee and crisp bread emerges. The aftertaste is mild and sweet with a fruity finish of home made fruit punch.
The carbonation is mild with lots of small fresh bubbles. The liquid is somewhat thick and smooth.
A well crafted example of a style that is unusual in Sweden.
