Birrificio Hibu "Trhibu"
6€/? glass on tap @ 404 NAME NOT FOUND_ , ROMA, IT on 29 June 2018
Notes: Somewhat hazy amber colored body beneath a finger's width or slightly more of off-white foam. Fairly strong aroma that's resinous, citrusy, tropical, herbal, and slightly earthy and spicy over a sweetish and gently bready malt base. The flavor follows the aroma with the maltiness appearing upfront and the hops steadily coming forward across the middle until they crescendo at the swallow. A solid bitterness anchors and balances it, and it finishes dry and lingering with some citrus, resin, and herbs lingering as the candyish malt fades. Medium bodied and crisp with a fine-bubbled carbonation. Good head retention and lacing. It's certainly not the best American IPA I've ever tasted but it's still worth trying.

Pours hazy yellow colour. Head has the characteristics of suds that maintains a thin line. Citrus (grapefruit) and hops flavours. And more hops. Same with aroma. Body feels very light as you drink. Elevated bitterness. Good overall beer.
