Pours a hazy sunburst orange color with a tight, white head that leaves little bits of lacing.
Smells of some bright hops and a bit of sweet malt.
Tastes of the bright hops layered over a solid malt base. Hops lead off with notes of grapefruit, mango, and some pine. This gives way to balancing malt sweetness with notes of bread, honey, and caramel. Really well-balanced. Finishes fairly clean with a slight lingering bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium with a slightly assertive amount of carbonation.
Overall, this is a tasty, well-balanced pale ale.
