10 ounce pour in a tulip at the brewery.
Mosaic Red Ale would seem a better name for this beer. It's not pale at all. Brownish/reddish in color really and I'm expecting some caramel or bready malt presence just looking at this.
Smells great though. Love that Mosaic hop. Pungent fruity and some funkiness and some earthiness. Peach? I get that. Melon too. Such a bevy of characteristics from this hop.
Flavors no slouch either. Got some juicy citrus, more earthiness and slight funk, prickly unriipe mango on the finish. As I expected from the appearance, caramel and bready malt creep into the mix a bit. Not offended by the malt here actually, makes for a good red ale.
I mentioned juicy already but it is in fact juicy. Earthy too like I said. Mellow with the bitterness and enough malt presence to provide some sweetness and body.
Well done, Marble. I'd been worried about you guys for a while, but you guys seem back on track.
