While not generally any kind of fan of hoppy browns, this one I enjoyed a lot. Lighter, crisper in body which made a big difference for me. I like (need?) my hoppier beers to be crisp with more drinkability. Not sure I got any of the fruitiness I usually attribute to citra hops from this one, but I am not complaining about that either. Instead I got a pairing of nuttiness, dark bread, and caramel paired with a blend of some earthy, roasty, and piney-ness. I really liked it. It looks nice too, brown with an off white head that left nice lacing on the sides. Overall, a very nice beer.
