From tasting notes 10/31/18
Had on-tap at Marble Brewery, Albuquerque NM
Appearance - Served in a tulip/teku style glass. Crystal clear and ruby in color. Mostly barren surface with a fair ring of suds holding the side of the glass. A few small spots for lacing.
Smell - Tart cherry aromw with a bit of woody oak to it. Light funk.
Taste - Follows the nose. Fair cherry tartness, oak and lesser funk upfront and throughout. Finishes with a nice balance of the afroementioned flavors, though that touch of cherry tartness lingers nicely.
Mouthfeel - Light-to-medium in body with fair, tingly carbonation. Slick, easy drinker with a mostly dry finish.
Overall - Really good oaky sour. This would be a must if I ever make my way to the ABQ again.

Cuvee Rouge pours a lovely reddish-orange color, with a slight haze and a finger of tan-tinted head that disappears quickly but leaves heavy lacing. Mix of strong oak and tartness in the aroma. Both continue to dominate the taste, along with some tart berries, maybe some orange blossom and a little buttered-croissant flavor behind. There's a smooth, lightly syrupy mouthfeel with a good burst of carbonation when you swallow, making the tartness from the flavor really pop. Not too funky, but there's a little funk in there. Like David Bowie. This is a highly-enjoyable brew.

Appearance: Tawny red, mahogany, hazy, thin wispy off white head.
Aroma: tart, mild acidity, Granny Smith apple skins, cranberry, soft fruit, funk, musk.
Taste: somewhat puckering, apples, light sweet fruit, musky, light funk, sharp sour middle which moves cleanly to a dry finish.
***Quite a drinkable and refreshing sourish ale. It's not too rough on the palate and has plenty of pleasant layers.
**Side note, mixed with an equal part of La Cumbre Full Nelson IIPA was a nice combo! Kudos, Shane!
