On-tap at Marble Brewery, Albuquerque, NM
A: The beer is dark reddish brown when viewed from afar, but when held up to the light it is clear dark red in color and has a slight amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a short off white head that left a thick coating of bubbles on the surface and the sides of the glass.
S: Light aromas of mint are present in the nose.
T: The taste has strong flavors of mint left along with hints of bourbon the finish from the barrel aging.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I liked the combination of mint and bourbon, particularly since the bourbon wasn't overly strong where it could mask or overpower the mint or make it seem very alcoholic.
