A pretty beer. Vibrant copper color, modest off-white head, plenty of lace.
The aroma is lacking. Some sweet malt and a little bit of hops.
Caramel taste, moderately hopped.
This "winter warmer" acts more like a junior barleywine.

Appearance - Copper hue, with a light mocha head. Looks rich and delicious.
Smell - Rosey, very subdued, but a little too much so. Just would have expected a bit more out of it, in terms of aroma.
Taste - This reminds me of a barleywine. There were lots of hops in this, but it was very smooth. You can taste the alcohol. Not what I would have expected out of the winter warmer style, but enjoyable none the less.
Feel - Extremely smooth with a nice mouthcovering.
Drinkability - Very tasty, but one will do ya. Otherwise, you'll be making out with the floor.

This may have been served a little too cold --- it took a few minutes for the beer to have any flavor at all, and the flavor was good but not outstanding. The alcohol was hidden very well, and the feel was smooth and not too dry. The color was a beautiful dark amber red. Definitely worth trying if you're into the style, but next to Marble's other beers it is relatively uninteresting.
