BB 12/20/23 printed on bottom of 12oz can poured into teku glass on Nov 12, 2023.
Appearance - Hazy gold-yellow body slightly, hazy. Small sudsy white head. One-finger. Weak lacing, no stick, low retention. Head is lame, but body looks vibrant. 4
Smell - Almost no smell. Faint rice. Bizarrely scentless. Maybe the most aroma-absent beer I've ever had. I guess if that's what the style is... 3
Taste - Light rice. Very little flavor. Enough body to not make it taste like water, but almost a neutral flavor with faint corn and alcohol in its finish. Inoffensive and I would say boring but ti's so flavorless, it's actually a point of curiosity. 3
Overall - As a beer I don't really care for it. But its strange and unique. And it probably serves some function like pairing with the most delicate dishes you can imagine. So rating within style it's actually not bad - not much competition to begin with though. 3.75

Picked up a 6-pack in NM from Smith's best by November 29th 2023
On a harder pour thre fingers of bone white head appear, then during a slow dissipation becomes rocky, and slightly fizzy. Body is a golden hay. Some lacing forms.
Aroma lacks malt character and comes with a lot of bright yeasty notes for a lager. There's almost a tart smell, but it's much more natural smelling than any AAL.
Taste does bring some crackery malt flavors, but the fruity broghtness is still there, although in a relatively crisp way. Theres a slight bitterness, and the flavor is quite smooth.
Feel is easy drinking and dry, but with a longer finish and a medium-full body. Very carbonated.
Overall this beer is fine, but I don't think I will be purchasing again. Upslope Brewing's Japanese rice lager is much better, as a true lager, and a lawnmower beer.

19.2oz can. Stamped on can bottom is 'B. B. 03/24/2023'.
Slightly cloudy, pale straw colored body. Initial pour wants to make a foamy head, but this recedes to a firm white cap and ring. Leaves minor spots of lacing.
Aroma is lightly toasted biscuit malt and fruity lemon, with some grassy notes and sweet rice.
Taste is lemon infused bread crust, lightly toasted. Lemongrass for sure. Slightly sweet with a very slight bite at the end. Shimmering lemon in the aftertaste.
Medium mouth feel. Clean and crisp finish. Excellent carbonation.
Refreshing beer, with a sweet kick.

Pale yellow body; mainly clear; dense, lively carbonation; thick, frothy head, white and persistent. Light malt nose with a touch of lemon grass; bread crust; mild lemon note; freshly cut green grass. Light, clean taste; mild citrus notes; very subdued biscuit flavor; mild bitterness. Light to medium-light mouthfeel; crisp; semi-dry character.
This is a nice little beer. It delivers mild, nuanced flavors yet has some roughness to it, especially with the mouthfeel.
Pouring temperature: 45 °F; canning info: BB 12/19/2022
