Coffee, spice, and everything nice!! This Turkish inspired delight is nuanced with cardamom, clove, and cinnamon to highlight the robust coffee that is layered upon a rich chocolatey body.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery snifter
A: Pours nearly black with a creamy milk chocolate brown head that slowly settles to a firm layer and laces nicely.
S: Solid hit of spices leads the way, followed by toasty malt, light char, coffee, a touch of dark fruit, faint dark chocolate, and a little toffee and burnt sugar sweetness.
T: Roasty, light char, coffee, super dark chocolate, nice hit of spice, cinnamon, clove, and cardamom all show up, a touch of dark fruit, cherry and plum, and a little toffee and burnt sugar sweetness.
M: A bit on the fuller side of medium body, mild to moderate carbonation, chewy.
O: Super cool and unique. I love getting to try beers like this. Would be great on a crisp fall day.

Look: Black with a thin mocca colored head
Aroma: coffee, roasted malts
Flavor: The flavor is lots of coffee, roasted malts, maybe some chocolate.
Body/Overall: It is good but it feels like having a strong cup of coffee.

This was a very interesting beer - it's not quite a traditional chocolate stout, and it's not quite a chai stout. The can said it had elements of both, which I guess is true, but it was much closer to a chai stout for me. Having recently been to Turkey and enjoyed their spices, I figured I should try this beer. I would not have been able to tell that it was 7.5% ABV, as it was very drinkable and not heavy at all. Nicely done.
