Collaboration with Varvar (Ukraine).
Brewed with our friends Varvar fom Kyiv. This strong ale is brewed to reflect our mutual love of Old Ales, Burton Ales and Barley Wines. Brewed with a complex malt base, and fermented on our house yeast, delicately hopped this ale shows both breweries holistic approach to brewing creating a balanced beer whose whole is far greater than the sum of its parts.

Dark brown, beautiful cream colored foam.
Malty and sweet smell, intense, good mix of malts, dry fruits, caramel, dates a dry figs. Raisins, burnt caramel.
Full and pleasant taste, again a good mix of malts, that gives complexity to the beer, without make it heavy.
Sweet, but with a good herbal bitterness in the back, roots- Good balance.
Again dry fruits and dates in the aftertaste. Red fruit.
Important beer, alcohol hidden.
