Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours faintly hazy golden amber with a frothy off white head that settles to a firm layer and laces nicely.
S: Citrus zest and resinous pine run the show, subtle grassy herbal notes, faint tropical and stone fruit buried in there, bready malt, and a touch of caramel sweetness.
T: Spicy resinous pine jumps right out up front, followed by some citrus rind, grapefruit, lemon, and a hint of orange, subtle grassy herbal notes, faint tropical and stone fruit, pineapple, mango, and apricot, bready malt, and a touch of caramel sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation.
O: Aah, a proper Westy. Not overly complex, but it doesn't need to be. Really satisfies that IBU craving that's been building up.
