Dark amber/red as far as I could tell in the dimly lit Marble tasting room. The head was thin, but I can't complain too much since the snifter was filled to the absolute brim with this fine American sour. Jezebel was basically a bigger (but not necessarily better) version of Sephira. Sharp sourness rounded out by the bigger malt body that included grape skins, dates, and whole grain bread. Complex undercurrent of earthy funky notes, green apple, and musky woodiness. Better than what most American breweries are making, but their outstanding Sephira is hard to beat.
