Pours dark amber with a small head, sort of white, has a tiny shade of brown in the foam. Smells like sweet malt, brown candy a little bit.. Sweetness forward. Tastes refreshing! Sweet with a little bit of physical punch, Cool sweetness at the finish. Stands a little taller than some of those other small, weird lagers out there. I enjoyed it.

500ml bottle in The Loft, Zagreb (18 kuna):
This on was an okay dark lager, I'd rate it as an improvement on the Pan Zlatni that I first tried a couple of years ago but it's by no means a classic beer. Easy to drink without coming through as thin or weak, the beer was enjoyable with a nice balance & is one I wouldn't be against picking up again if I was ever back in Croatia.

Dark brown pour, one finger long lasting creamy head.
Weak smell, a bit of roasted malts, some hops, very faint dark fruit, not much.
Taste is very "lagerish", with grains and a hint of skunk. Still, a bit of dark fruit zestiness, decent hops in the finish. A touch of roast enhances the nice bitterness in the finish. Some faint burnt sugar too.
Watery, soft body, low to medium carbonation. Thirst quenching.
Decent, but bringing nothing extra to separate itself from the other mediocre dark macrolagers.

I was expecting a lot from this new product, especially considering their ordinary lager is one of my favourites. But...
Pours with a nice dark brown color and a small head. The aroma is basically hoppy with only a tiny amount of some roasted malts. The taste is almost exactly like the ordinary lager's, the only difference is there's some roastiness in the aftertaste.
It's not a bad beer, but it's nothing different from the pale lager. Where is the malt, roasted feel, caramel.... There's a lot of room to improve.
