Clear with a slight cloud effect, with few activity. Tight foamy and frothy white 4+ finger explosive head, lasting around 15 minutes, with residual legs and decent swirl reaction. Flavors of pears, lemon, sweet grains pils dominant, light caramel, and floral hops. Slick full body with a very sharp crisp. Light strength finish, more fruity dominant than herbal, poor hops intensity, so it's not a good Kolsch example. Way too accessible. Nice body but the finish is bland and uninteresting, while clean and refreshing. Overall average in quality.

Bottle: Poured a golden color Kolsch with a medium size foamy head with light retention. Aroma consists of light buttery cereal malt with little else in terms of characteristics. Taste is also dominated by light buttery notes with some cereal notes. Body is about average with light oily texture with medium carbonation. This is not a style known for its complexity but this example is probably below average in terms of character.
