On tap at the brewery.
Pours a golden amber in color with a lovely frothy white head on top that leaves plenty of lacing as you drink. Carbonation looks a touch below average.
Aroma is very much forest! Spruce, for and pine resin, but also some citrus in the mix. There is also a lovely toasted cereal maltiness. Love where this is going.
Taste follows the aroma well. Pine forest up front with a perfect malt balance. Toasty, bready, splash of honey. Goes back to the pine on the swallow and lingers after. A bit of grapefruit rind in there as well.
This is medium bodied with a very smooth, creamy carbonation. Finishes slightly crisp but not entirely dry. Very drinkable.
This one hit the spot. Exactly what I like in an IPA, and very fresh. I'll have another. Cheers!
