Small and basic place with low vibe. The service is great explaining every single beer on the menu. Around 6-8 beers on tap, OK quality that needs more work. The food is only cheese, meat, and fish plates. Well oriented for beer and looks good quality.

Some of the best beer I've had on draft in Canada. Great Belgian IPA, great Red Ale. I even loved their blonde which had a crisp, citrus-y taste. Definitely recommend you stop here if you find yourself in Rimouski.

The food was charcuterie, cheese plates and smoked fish plates. I had the mixed meat and cheese plate which came with crunchy, cracker-like bread, jam, sausage, cheese, almonds and dried fruit (I think raisins). Good, but pricey. Worth it if you want to stop here for dinner while having a bunch of beers.

I was in Rimouski for training, and some locals took me and some friends to this place. It's very small, and if you didn't know what it was, it would be very easy to pass it by. I hit the place twice.

It's a great place, especially when you consider how small the town. It's got a warm, woody atmosphere, and seating for about 30 people. There's a little bar seating with about 4 stools, and then several small tables. We squished a few together to seat the 10 of us, We had some french speakers with us, who got us through, but we were essentially a big table of loud english folks, and nobody seemed to mind.

They had about 8 beers on tap, and I had the chocolate stout, which was delicious. It came with a little piece of chocolate, which I thought was a nice touch. I'm not sure I could have eaten if I wanted to - there was maybe a cheese plate or something, but it seems to really be about the beer.

The 2nd time I went there, I tried all of the beers via a sampler plate. I didn't think to review them individually at the time, but they were all pretty good (except I remember not enjoying one of them - sorry - can't remember which).

Regardless - I wholeheartedly recommend this spot - it would be a sin to be in Rimouski and not stop by. Good beer, great atmosphere.
