Serving: Bottle
A:
Pours a hazy white gold with 2 fingers of pristine white head that ends up as a decent film. Pretty good retention; a touch of lacing. (3.75)
S:
Bright yeast and citrus. Chalky yeast, soap, floral, citrus zest herbal hop, white pepper. (4)
T:
Slightly Bready with bitter backbone. Mineral, lime zest, floral hops, biscuity malt/yeast, mellow flavor overall. (4)
M:
Rich and frothy wth a light+ body, real easy drinker. (3.75)
O:
Very good hoppy hefe.
This is a nice, drinkable, refreshing beer. It is good, but would be much better released in summer.
Pours nice enough with a healthy dose of yeast/floral hop character to keep it filling but sharp. Drinks nice, and is really clean on the palate. Lots of clover, lime, and biscuity malt hints.
Would have again; great for having a few after hard physical labor. (3.75)

A: Cloudy, blonde color. Two fingers of a fairly large bubbled head. Some lacing leaves it self behind.
S: Some spicy hops coupled with some clove-like phenolics. Upon closer inspection I get some tropical smelling fruit and a bit of banana.
T: This is some pretty unique tasting stuff. Clove and spice comes though fairly prominently, but is backed by some nice wheat/cereal sweetness. I also get some papaya and passion fruit. Fairly fruity, but hoppy fruity, not ester fruity. It's a strange fusion of the flavors I would associate with Citra, but retains that slightly spicy Weizen phenol element. A bit tea-like too.
F: Carbonation is a little bit higher, but that's okay for a Weizen IMO.
O: Pretty good beer. I really like this style, and I will definitely be brewing a Weizen this summer, with some citra.

Bottle: Poured a hazy dirty yellow color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of sweet wheat malt notes with some light dry hoppy notes. Taste is also dominated by sweet wheat malt notes that are somewhat offset by some light citrusy and dry hoppy notes. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Not bad but I was expecting a bit more edge to the hops profile.
