Cloudy, like a contemporary juicy IPA. Nice head and lace.

Wonderful aroma of hops and Brett.

Nice tropical fruit and sponge toffee in the flavour, a little leather and hay, finishes with a piny and somewhat herbal, resiny bitterness.

Moderate to full body has a light hop acidity and a drying alcohol finish.

Thanks Vincent!

A - Nice cloudy burnt orange. Good three finger fluffy white head and good chunky retention with heavy lace rings.

S - Juicy. Pineapple core, pear. Zero Brett. Mango juice.

T - Brett is there now. Funky, fruity. Brett is really strong with lot's of fruit pulp.

M - Good carbonation, medium body, nice DIPA bitterness.

O/D - This wasn't as juicy as you'd expect from Simcoe, Mandarina, and Galaxy so that was a bit of a letdown. Brett was also scattered. Otherwise this was complex and enjoyable, just left a bit to be desired.

Interesting beer. Pours a light, see through orange, decent head, nice lacing. All bitter citrus on the nose which blends well with the brett presence. Taste is quite piney, not overly fruity but as with the aroma, the brett blends in quite well. Maybe a touch too bitter lingering at the end. Nice feel to it, not too think or thick.

Not what I look for in the style, but quite enjoyable!

Appearance - This beer pours an unbelievably hazy orange color similar to that of all orange everything, It pours with 3 fingers of foamy white head that fades extremely slowly and carbonation looks extremely lively. tons of lacing as the head does fade.

Aroma - Extremely citrusy! mango, Pineapple, light melon, clementine, lime rind, and some breautiful brett funkyness on the back end of the aroma.

Taste - Citrus bomb up front, I'm getting grapefruit, orange peel bitterness, followed again by clementine, pineapple, mango, some pine resin behind that and some brett funk on the back end.

Feel - This beer has a very resinous sappy feel, It is medium bodied but on the heavier side, and the carbonation is creamy. I do feel like this could have been a bit lighter with the creamy carbonation to make it feel better but its still pretty damn good!

Overall - This is one hell of an IIPA. I love citrusy aroma and flavor, how the citrus overpowers the resin and I love the use of brett for a funky character. Considering this is an IIPA I feel it had just the right amount of funk to fit the category! The only thing I would change would be to give it a slightly ligher mouth feel. but this is pretty outstanding! cheers!

Bottle: Poured a light bright orangey color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy hops notes with some tropical notes is quite enticing. Taste is also a nice mix of residual sugar notes with some citrusy notes with some tropical flavours and a dry finish with light bitter notes. Body is quite full with good carbonation. Quite enjoyable for the style though the Brett yeast notes can be readily discernable and probably need more time in the bottle to develop.

Cloudy golden/yellow in color with a really thin white head.

Smell of fresh hops, resinous and fruity. I expected some Brett in the nose but can't smell it.

The Bretts are definitely present in the mouth though. The mix between the really hoppy side of the IIPA and the funky side of the Brett yeasts is really interesting. Makes it really easier to drink than most Double IPA out there and the acidity complements really well the bitterness.

Really well done, the yeast are supposed to be 100% Bretts but I would've taken even more to make it a little more funkier.

Pours a cloudy whitish gold with a big three fingers of saopy white head that drops to a chunky film. Good retention; lots of geometrical lacing. (4)

Bright, tart fruit aromas. Stanky barnyard with pez, lime rind, juniper, pineapple. (4)

Evenly balanced fruity, bitter flavor with a medicinal/funky finish. Some citrus fruits, lots of citrus bitterness, some funky horse bitterness, some medicinal herbal bitterness. Pretty damn bitter. (4)

Big, sticky, resinous, bitter, medium bodied, medium carbonation, lingering bitterness. (3.75)

Very tasty brett IIPA.
This beer pours nice and is pretty enjoyable all in all. It is pretty fruity smelling and principally bitter in the taste department. The fruity aromatics and the brett funk mix well together. The only real issue to my tastes is that it is not super drinkable as it is a little too twangingly, tylenol bitter at the end. Good beer. Makes me miss their Brett Session IPA all the more. (4)
