Bottle: Poured a yellow/orangey color ale with a nice large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of fresh citrusy notes with light undertones of apricot and peach is quite pleasant. Taste is a nice mix of fresh citrusy notes with some floral undertones notes and some residual sugar notes. Body is full with medium filtration and good carbonation. Solid IIPA with plenty of fresh hops characteristics and well balanced ABV.

A:
Pours a hazy, orange-tinged honey color with a big three finger dollop of creamy off-white head. Great retention; waves and splotches of foam insulation lace. (4.25)
S:
Candied oranges with some resinous hops, herbal notes, and sugar cookie malts. (4)
T:
Soft, smooth green bitterness, herbs, grass, pine inter-mixed with sweet malts and a lingering hint of aromatic citrus rind. (4)
M:
Soft and creamy with a medium+ body, medium carbonation and a lingering hop resin finish. (4.25)
O:
Nice IIPA.
It is very nice-looking in the glass. Both the aroma and flavor lead me to believe that it has fallen off a little, there was some rust under the cap and it smells a touch oxidized and I tend to think that the citrusy nature of the hops may have popped a little more a couple weeks ago. If that is the case, I would definitely bump most everything up a little.
It is a hoppy, bitter, tasty, well-made beer. Honestly I'd say it is probably the best hoppy beer I've had from Pit Caribou. It is creamy, dry, resinous and drinkable. Would have again. Very good! (4)
