Bright golden color with low activity. Veiled and cloudy with more yeast pour. Foamy white 3 finger head, lasting around 10 minutes, with poor legs but good swirl reaction. Flavors of wheat, lemon, apples, blueberries, wild yeast, basil and floral hops. Slick and smooth medium to full body with a moderate crisp. Medium strength tart finish, lightly fruity and flowery, slightly spicy and minty with a malty end. Soft barrel effect. Great freshness and feel, excellent balance, highly satisfying. Not really a Berliner Weisse, more like an American Wild Ale or a blend of both. Surprisingly the basil fits incredibly well with the style. Overall excellent quality craft.

Bottle: Poured a pale yellow color Weisse with a large off-white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of tart notes with some basilic notes clearly identifiable. Taste is a nice mix of tart notes with well-balanced basilic notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. I was expecting the basilica to dominate the flavour profile but this is actually a very well-balanced and highly drinkable Weisse.

A huge bunch of basil in a bottle, a well dosed tartness, a strong effervescence with a touch of outdated hops reminding lambic alike taste. This beer makes me think about the collaboration Lindemans/Mikkeler Spontanbasil.
Perfect pairing with a tomato based spaghetti!
Amazing Brew!
