Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color ale with a dark brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of black chocolate, bourbon and vanilla is quite sublime. Taste is a great mix of black chocolate, bourbon and vanilla with right amount of residual sugar notes. Body is full with nice creamy texture, good carbonation and no real apparent alcohol notes. Like the complexity and the richness of the beer while avoiding to fall in the pastry stout trap.
