Medium red-orange color, slightly hazy with minimal head.

Sweet cherry and floral aroma. The aroma is pleasant and prominent. It is unlike any other IPA I have ever smelled, whether English or American - style. The flavor follows suit with a very unusual floral and sweet fruity aroma. I think it is a good thing that not every brewer feels compelled to shoot for the same hop profile. Nice biscuit malt base that is totally fitting for the style. However, a strong peppery bitterness is somewhat astringent and makes this beer a little less appealing. It is less off-putting when drinking this with spicy food; less suited to stand-alone drinking.

Medium body with good carbonation. But again, the astringent peppery bitterness dominates the mouthfeel.

Bottle from Rahman's. Pours light golden with enormous head. vegetable aromas, cabbage and hops. Very lacy. Creamy though middling mouthfeel, this is fresh stuff. Drinkable, understated hops, more vegetable as you go. Bitterness is there, but so is numbing tongue and astringent aftertaste. So-so.

Love this brewery... can't wait to try this one.

Keep in mind that this one is an English IPA, not an american. Some, when drinking IPA, always have in mind the american version... this one is not. It is clearly mentioned on the beer label.

Color is amber/dark copper. Nice foamy head on top of it. Slightly beige. Sticks well to the glass... awesomeness!

Aroma is light. Woody with some malts in there. Some might say it is also earthy. On the taste, it is very malty but the earthy notes are there. Not overly bitter first, but as you drink (or sip if you prefer) it gets more and more bitter. Very refreshing. Nice carbonation. Medium body. This is one of my favorite English IPA.
