500ml bottle from the Lake District, England:
Copper tinged amber & very clear with plenty bubbles rising to the surface & a thin, 0.5cm head that's foamy white, covering the surface & holding fairly well. The nose is quite basic & bitter with grassy notes, faint biscuit & a few pale malts at the end. The taste is slightly more malty with the same biscuit base, touches of caramel & some bread flavours further on whilst the body is quite smooth with a medium feel to it. The beer is on the drier side of things towards the end but it's well-balanced & much more enjoyable than I had expected.
