Pours a clear, light golden color. The minimal head fades fairly quickly, leaving little trace.
I smell light, citrusy hops, and a sweet malt backdrop. Simple, but pleasant.
The taste follows pretty directly on the aroma. Hops are present, but subdued, and lightly sweet malts form the backbone of the flavor. I taste citrus, apple, and just a bit of bread.
The mouthfeel is light and clean, with little aftertaste and absolutely no detectable alcohol.
The brewery's website describes this beer as a bitter, though the hops are not as assertive as I would like from the style. It was reasonably pleasant to drink, but I just got bored before I finished it.
