2€ @ Alimentació-Forés in the Mercat De La Boqueria, Barcelona, ES
Look: A clear deep golden/light amber body is capped by a finger's width of fluffy white foam. Better than average head retention and lacing.
Smell: Softly bready and biscuity malt is backed by delicately floral and herbal hops.
Taste: Lightly bready and toasty malt is threaded through with herbal, floral, and spicy hops and balanced by a stiff bitterness of around 25 IBUs. A touch of apple-like fruitiness is also present. It finishes dry, earthy, and lightly spicy with a dull, lingering bitterness.
Feel: Medium bodied and crisp.
Overall: Not bad at all in comparison to many Euro lagers that lack the character of this one.
