Cervezas Moritz, S.A. "Moritz Negra"
€4,90 / 33cl on tap @ Casa Moritz, Barcelona, ES on 24 November 2022
Notes:
Look: Typical stout appearance with a creamy tan head atop an opaque black body. Excellent head retention and lacing.
Smell: Toasted nuts and grainy malt with a soft roastiness.
Taste: The flavor follows the aroma with an additional note of cocoa powder and a delicate fruitiness that includes apple and berry. A median to moderate bitterness leads to a mostly dry finish with light notes of coffee and toffee lingering.
Feel: Medium-light in body, and soft and velvety smooth with a moderate, fine-bubbled carbonation.
Overall: A pleasant and unique stout that's quite quaffable.
