This is an Oatmeal Stout base with a pronounced Coffee character. There is also a good amount of residual sweetness more than likely from the use of lactose. The combination of the mouthfeel from the oats, the aroma from the coffee, and the full bodied finish from the lactose combine for an exceptionally drinkable beer. Unlike most coffee based stouts you can easily drink several pints of this beer.
