Poured into a standard pint, this dark amber beer features a slow forming but dense half-inch of foam on top of it. The aroma is nicely bready, with notes of toasted crust, and a little whiff of caramel. Flavorwise, it emphasizes the malt, which is well-rounded and complex. Hop bitterness is low, leaving the impression of a fair amount of sweetness. Neutral with regard to yeast, and body that's full but not heavy.
