Golden Straw in color, our German Style Blonde Lager is brewed with all German ingredients. This lager boasts a generous portion of Pilsner malt blended with small amounts of crystal malts providing an authentic German aroma and taste. Noble German hops, cold fermentations, and the soft water used is similar to the water in Cologne, Germany and provides a perfect background and finish to the beer.

12 ounce can poured into a tulip glass.
L---Not quite crystal clear, bright golden color. Fluffy, white head faded quickly to a cap and left ok lacing.
S---Grains & sweet malts. A touch of bread.
T---Sweet grainy malts and some bread and grass.
F---Medium minus mouthfeel. Ample carbonation.
O---A nice beer by a good, small local brewery

A thanks to the champion of the canquest, woodychandler, for this beer. Despite a gentle pour, this beer oozed out, resulting in a bright golden color with a 2 inch head. Smell is surprisingly lemony. Taste is lemons, malts, some floral notes. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is an alright beer, nothing special.

I was in PHL on Sa, 23 June 2018 for the 1-year Anniversary Party of their satellite location there (Roy Pitz Barrel House 990 Spring Garden St). They brought people on a bus from Chambersburg (!) & we did a walking tour of both Love City & the newest Yards before returning to their place. Part of the celebration was the unveiling of their CANs & I got two of each of the three (3) with one set for The CANQuest (tm) & the other for my local, in-person trader, tone77, due to visit this coming Sunday, 08 July 2018.
From the CAN: "Liquid Art"; "Passionately Brewed & CANned in Chambersburg, PA".
There may be some CANfusion on here as the beer is listed as both a Kölsch AND a Munich Helles Lager. I am reviewing it as the latter since it is clearly marked & identified as being a Lager-style beer. I will contact the brewery & get some guidance on how to untangle this one, but unless they ever identified it as an Ale, the Kölsch entry will need to be merged.
Enough of that, time to get Crack!in'! I then decanted the beer with a slow, gentle Glug into the awaiting glass. An in-glass swirl raised just over a finger of fizzy, foamy, rocky, bone-white head with modest retention, leaving decent lacing in its wake as it reduced to wisps. Color was Straw-Yellow (SRM = > 2, < 4) with NE-quality clarity. The nose smelled very close to a Pils with its grassy Noble hops quality. Mmm. Mouthfeel was thin-to-medium, about on par for the style. The taste retained the Noble hoppiness, but now, a biscuit maltiness began to also assert itself. Mmm. This was all pretty much directly aligned with the site's style descriptors for a Munich Helles Lager. It was very tasty & highly refreshing. Finish was semi-dry and very quaffable. Now that the boyz have begun putting it in CANs, you CAN CANsider stopping by the Barrel House on your way to the shore. I know that I would!

Poured into a narrow pint glass, color is straw, not 100% transparent, but fairly clear; head is off white with fine bubbles, some lacing on the glass.
Smell is pleasantly malty, bready, light biscuit, touch of earthy hops.
Taste is also similarly pleasant with malt, bread, biscuit notes; moderate spicy hop like quality, an earthiness to the malt/hop combination.
Mouthfeel threads the line of crisp and soft; moderate carbonation, light sweetness and a lingering soft water feel.
Overall a very good and pleasant tasting helles lager. Soft feel with bready flavors and moderate crisp/soft feel.
