This place is has two different areas. On one half you have a huge bar with some additional tables and booths. On the other side is a huge game room with darts, arcade games, pool tables and, my favorite, two hand shuffleboard tables. A bit loud, but a pretty cool atmosphere in all.

They are now making some of their own beers here which we sampled and though were quite good. They had several solid tap selections including Surly Furious and Bell's Two Hearted. My favorite of the night though was the hand pulled Irish Stout made by Lake Superior Brewing.

Our waitress provided solid service and was very friendly. Prices were very reasonable as I think all of our beers were under $4 on happy hour. We had a good time and would go back again.

I picked this place because the reviews for the other irish brew pub in town were less than stellar. I was happy with the results.

The atmostphere is like an old world pub but in new world portions. The wall behind the bar is a 10 x 40 foot shrine to liquor, including an impressive lineup of whiskies and scotch. In the back is a curling table which leads to a theatre for comedy acts.

The menu had typical pub faire including pasties and burgers, nothing really off the wall. For brews there is New Belgium, Surly, Leinies, and a few others including four house brews. I tried the IPA, it smelled much hoppier than it tasted, but it was still good. The staff is quite friendly and very attentive. When in Duluth I will definitely make a stop here.
