Consumed straight from the fermenter at the brewery in Utsunomiya, tochigi Prefecture **Big smiles**
A - It's a nice viscous coffee brown liquid opaque even when held up to the light. The head was a mixture of deep crimson and chocolate milk. One or two fingers high, it left thin fine bubbled sheeths of head on the glass.
S - The smell was mostly chocolate malt some crystal malts sweet like fresh pizza dough.
T - So fresh. So wonderfully fresh. Straight from the fermenter's spiggot. It really can't compare to others. Flavors were sweetly bitter. Like tiramisu. Or a cappuchino with 1 cream and 2 sugars. But the roasted malts were well balanced too. I was reminded of dinner rolls dipped in smores.
M - Mouthfeel was creamy and smooth. It had good body, but for a stout I felt it could have had more.
D - The ideal dessert beer. But honestly for myself I could drink this all day long.
