Part of the Poitras/VA 2004 vacation.
Enjoyed on tap at Sweetwater Tavern - Sterling, VA.
Pint glass presentation. No head or lacing to speak of over the deep golden brew. Nose along the lines of what would expect froma Hefe, strong with wheat/grain character. Flavor represents the style as well, not a leap towards either extreme. Mouthfeel and drinkability are good.

Had this at the Sterling Virginia Sweetwater. This poured a cloudy golden yellow color with a slight white head that quickly dropped to a collar. The smell is BANANAS! Of course that is it literally smells like bananas and some yeasty grain as it warms up. Taste is a fruity sweetness and a whole lot of banana with a slight citrus taste to it as well. Body is about medium with a nice mouthfeel. Pretty good drinkability is you like bananas because thatÂ’s what this one is all about. A good refreshing beer that I could easily polish off a few of.
