On tap at brewpub:
Lovely looking beer with a hued-towards-orange clear golden body. Head is a foamy top that doesn't leave the beer. Lacing ensues!
Nose on a cold beer has a bit of a "brew-day" grainy note to it. With some warmth, a sweet grapefruit with a whiff of pine starts to become noticeable, bit id like it a little more prominent.
Taste luckily flips the nose. There's still a little graininess at the base, but the pine is stronger, and the pith of the grapefruit is more than the pulp. I'd argue this is a cross of old school east coast and west coast IPA - a little more hop bitterness late but balanced to the mid-taste.
Medium feel is nice, but there's just a hint of bite that could be spice or alcohol.
Definitely enjoyed this, but there is room for improvement, mainly in the nose.
