Not a bad APA, but more resin and zest without much real flavor.

Tasted from a growler on 04/23/07 from the Sterling, VA location.

Clear light golden color with a pillowy tall white head and nice active carbonation. A slight hint of citrusy hops on the nose. Mostly an "off" malt flavor with little to no hop character noticed; balanced OK; not sweet with any hop flavor there is being earthy. Light-medium bodied -- a bit airy due to carbonation with an earthy finish.

I wonder if this shares the same base beer that the Steam Beer and the IPA used - since they all had the same kinds of strange "off" malt problem.

Per chalkboard at brewbub: 5.8% ABV.
