On tap at brewery:
A darker amber than others I’ve had, the head is loose but sustaining. Light but expected aroma from the red-leaning amber producing malts.
Malty flavors with a deeper feel and malt-based flavor profile of toast and jam. There’s a slight coffee influence to the typical amber lager that seems to add some depth as well. Not much noticeable hop influence, but the beer isn’t too sweet, so there’s a nice balance in there of some sort.
A bit deeper and a tad heavier than many offerings, the beer still fits easily into the style in general.

Clear chestnut hue. Thick, persistent head leaves Belgian lace. Mellow roasted malt and dark toffeeish sweetness in aroma. Mild dark chocolate. Devoid of any hop nose. Bittersweet chocolate dominates the flavor profile, with faint toffee present as an undertone. Mild toasty Munich malt presence. Well, perhaps overly hopped-- when coupled with the high attenuation, very little residual sweetness remains. Notes of sweet, herbed cracker emerge late. Finishes dry, with faint hints of carob. Thinnish in mouthfeel, but passably crisp. A decently quaffable dunkel, but its relative blandless nearly bores the palate. Ultra clean, but uninspired.
