alot of neat stuff on the walls with a line of TV's for sports behind the bar. Its a little dark, woukd like more natural light. The strawberry blonde is the best beer here in my opinion, could use alot more work on the IPA offerings here, an IPA should be easy to pull off and i don't think they nailed it. Only felt 1 of the 4 I had was a good or decent IPA. Could use more knowledge of beer style guidelines when labeling beers.

Ben's is now brewing its own beers again as of November of 2017. There are at least 4 of the brewery's own beers on tap downstairs, and 3 more in the Cooper Room speakeasy on the second floor. They also have an excellent selection of bottles and cans, and really work to feature local brewers from South Dakota, Iowa, and Nebraska on their menu. The service is always top notch, and free popcorn to boot.

 

 

Ben's has one of the best selections of beers in the area. While we are challenged for beer here in South Dakota, he does a really good job of rotating out regional breweries in the 15 taps he has onsite. On any given day you may find something from Brau Brothers, Emperyean, Millstream, or Summit, plus Rogue Dead Guy (Ben's favorite beer), Deschutes and other bigger craft brewers. The staff is always friendly, and there are plenty of televisions for folks who want to watch the game. Plus, you get free popcorn while you drink. Outside of Monk's in Sioux Falls, I think this is the best selection in South Dakota.
