Copenhagen 18/12 2019. 33 cl bottle from Mad & Vin, Magasin, Kbh. K. Dark Blue version of Møns Bryghus usual design with the little pictogram of Møns klint.

Pours hazy amber with a medium-sized white head. Settles as thin layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.

Aroma is medium-intense, quite sweetish and on the malty side. Sweet caramel, bread, straws. Lighter fruity odor of orange and clementine. Lightly citric.

Medium carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.

Flavor is medium sweet followed and balanced by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a light sweet undercurrent. Lingers for a while. Semi-dry finish.

Middle of the road India Pale Ale with a sweetish nose but a well balanced flavor.

Pours a hazy dark orange with soft foam.

Smell is fruity and a bit sweet with notes of bready malt and strawberry jam.

Taste is bready to start, with a nice sweet malt base. On top of that comes notes of strawberries, all grain toast and some rye. Moderate bitterness, and some earthiness on the finish.

Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.

Overall, a good IPA thats lives in the borderlands between American and English.
